Problem · Owners

When people search for what we do, our competitors show up and we do not.

You have done this work for fifteen years and a company half your size ranks above you for it. The usual explanation is backlinks or some technical mystery. The usual cause is simpler: they have a page for the query and you have a paragraph. A 12 page site ranks for its brand name. A 150 page site ranks for the category.

How people search thisnot showing up on google for my services · competitors rank higher than us · why does my business not appear in google search · how to rank for our services · how many pages does a website need to rank

Baseline at $2,500 a month starts the drumbeat: one page a month written to be found and cited. Kinetic runs the full content system. The programmatic page expansion add on ships 50 server rendered entity pages at a time for $2,500 a month. Pricing is published.

Count the pages, then count theirs

Search site:yourdomain.com and site:competitor.com. If they have 140 indexed pages and you have 11, you already know why. Every commercial query a buyer types deserves its own page: each service, each application, each model type, each condition, each location. Google ranks pages, not companies, and a company with one page about everything ranks for nothing in particular.

For one life science client, rebuilding the catalog as one server rendered page per product moved average position from 16 to 10 and organic clicks 3.7x in eight months. The site had not earned a single new backlink in that time. It had earned pages.

The three technical reasons a good page still does not rank

It is not in the HTML. Sites that assemble text in the browser with JavaScript are often invisible to crawlers; request your page without JavaScript and read what is left. It has no schema, so Google cannot tell a service page from a blog post. It is slow, and Core Web Vitals sit outside budget on mobile. All three are platform problems, which is why our builds are server rendered with schema on every page and why we migrate from WordPress and Webflow rather than patch them.

What the content has to do

Answer the literal question in the first 40 words. Carry one number or definition a reader can quote. Link to the service page it supports and from the pages that support it. Publish on a cadence, because a site that adds one real page a month for a year has 12 more chances to rank than one that redesigned once and stopped. Commercial pages paired with ads produce in weeks; organic compounding shows from month three and accelerates after month six.

Questions on this problem

They help and we earn them with original data and editorial series rather than buying them. But page count and page quality move first, and most sites in this position have not done that work.

As many as there are questions your buyers ask. One client needed 147 hand built pages plus a 14,000 page catalog. A professional firm might need 40. The number comes from the query list, not from a template.

If it renders on the server and carries schema, we add pages. If it does not, a rebuild on our stack is included with a 12 month term or $15,000 up front.
