How long does MLR review take?

Vodori's 2025 benchmark puts the average job at 14.8 days from submission to approval. At mid size and large pharma, Indegene reports 50 to 60 days per piece. A small company with one named reviewer and a claim library can run it weekly.

The slow version routes whole drafts over email to a committee. The weekly version flags only new claims, attaches the reference, and asks one question: approved, revised, or cut.
