How much should a medical practice spend on marketing?

A single location practice with a competitive service line runs $5,000 a month in fees plus $3,000 to $10,000 in ad spend. Multi location groups spend $10,000 plus in fees and $10,000 to $50,000 in media.

The fee buys the site, the content, and a person reading the ads account weekly. The spend buys the patients. Practices under those numbers should start with content at $2,500 and a HIPAA covered intake stack before buying any ads.
